Successful PEEK Plant Startup in Panoli

With the successful start-up of its 500 ton/year production unit in Panoli, India, Solvay now delivers KetaSpire® PEEK and AvaSpire® PAEK – two ultra polymers that offer best-in-class chemical resistance and mechanical properties, plus ease of processing.

Resins from this world-class facility, which is scalable to double capacity, give design engineers lighter, stronger and better performing alternatives to costly metals and ceramics. More

 

KetaSpire PEEK (polyetheretherketone)  offers the highest chemical resistance of any semi-crystalline plastic with excellent retention of mechanical properties up to 570°F (300°C). Glass fiber-reinforced and carbon fiber-reinforced grades provide a wide range of performance options for demanding applications.
