HIGH-PERFORMANCE MEDICAL PLASTICS
Radel R polyphenylsulfone (PPSU) is an incredibly tough, transparent plastic with an HDT of 207°C, excellent chemical resistance and the ability to withstand more than a thousand cycles of disinfection and steam sterilization without any significant loss of properties, making for an extremely versatile medical plastic. Colored compounds are available.

 

 

 

Udel polysulfone (PSU) is a strong, near water-white transparent plastic with an HDT of 174°C, good chemical resistance and excellent dimensional stability when exposed to steam and oxidizing agents. Colored compounds are available.

 

   

 

   

Ixef polyarylamide
(PARA)
 combines outstanding strength and stiffness with exceptional surface appearance and high flow for enhanced design flexibility. Colored compounds are available.

 

 

 

ULTRA POLYMERS FOR USE AS MEDICAL PLASTICS
KetaSpire PEEK (polyetheretherketone)    is one of the most chemically resistant plastics available and exhibits excellent strength, stiffness and fatigue resistance, making it an excellent option as a medical plastic. It has an HDT up to 315°C with a continuous use temperature of 240°C.

 

 

 

AvaSpire modified PEEK 
is a novel PEEK-based formulation with unique advantages that bridge price and performance gaps. Colored compounds are available.

is the stiffest and strongest unreinforced thermoplastic available.
