Ultra-Thin PEEK Films
Ultra-Performance Films Save Space and Reduce Weight

KetaSpire® PEEK (polyetheretherketone) and AvaSpire® modified PEEK can be used to fabricate ultra-thin films with thicknesses down to 5 microns (0.005 mm). This allows engineers to save space and reduce weight without compromising performance.

  • Excellent long-term thermal oxidative stability
  • Continuous-use temperature of 240°C (464°F)
  • Outstanding chemical resistance to organics, acids and bases
  • Excellent resistance to hot water and steam

  • Improved ductility and toughness for better puncture resistance
  • Higher HDT than comparable PEEK grades
  • Better adhesion to substrates

Solvay offers a number other ultra polymers and high-performance plastics that are suitable for film.
